The Career and Placement Department of Daly College plays a vital role in guiding students towards successful academic and professional pathways. With a strong focus on personalized support, the department provides one-on-one counselling to senior students, helping them make informed decisions about courses and universities. Through platforms like Cialfo, students are assisted in applying to top institutions in India and abroad, ensuring a smooth and structured application process.

Key Initiatives and Student Support: -

1. Annual Career Fair

The department organizes the Annual Career Fair, hosting over 100 renowned universities, giving students direct access to global opportunities and expert insights. In addition, many International University visits and student interactions are facilitated throughout the year.

2. Cialfo: Streamlining University Applications

The Career and Placement Department leverages Cialfo as its official edtech platform to simplify and enhance the university search and application process. Through this platform, students gain access to a wide range of global universities, personalized recommendations, and application tracking tools. Cialfo enables students to make well-informed decisions, manage deadlines efficiently, and present strong applications to institutions worldwide, thereby strengthening their higher education journey.

3. ICS Career Counselling: Expert Guidance for Informed Decisions

The department collaborates with experienced counsellors from ICS, Lucknow, who conduct intensive career counselling sessions for students. These expert-led sessions provide valuable guidance on subject selection and future course pathways, helping students align their academic choices with their interests, strengths, and long-term career aspirations. A major highlight of the department’s efforts is its focus on career exploration through workshops on Design, Entrepreneurial Mindset, and Start-ups, along with sessions on financial literacy. These workshops expose students to emerging fields, foster creativity, and encourage innovation, helping them explore diverse career options with confidence. Along with this, students are also informed about various Summer School, Global Service Projects & Internship opportunities which helps in developing a strong profile.

Through the KRUU programme for Grades 6–12, students engage in project-based learning that strengthens critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. These projects connect classroom learning with real-world challenges, preparing students for future academic and professional demands.
