The school boasts exceptional basketball facilities, with ten courts spread across the school and boarding campus. It has proudly produced elite cagers who excelling at renowned universities and institutions. The courts serve as a vibrant hub of year-round basketball activities, with regular inter-house and inter-class matches, alumni (old Dalian) fixtures, and friendly inter-school competitions, providing students with valuable real-game experience.

The school has upgraded sports facilities marking a significant milestone in its commitment to providing world-class infrastructure for students. Designed to meet international standards, these enhancements create an ideal environment for performance, training, and excellence.

Seven basketball courts across the campus have been upgraded with modern playing surfaces. These courts now feature the CONIPUR 2S system—a high-performance synthetic polyurethane (PU) surface, rigorously tested and approved by global bodies such as FIBA and the IAAF.

This advanced surface ensures superior grip, enhanced shock absorption, and exceptional durability, delivering a safe, professional, and high-quality playing experience for every athlete.
