From 23rd July to 2nd August, 15 students, along with two teachers travelled from Delhi to Istanbul for the Cappadocia World Dance Festival. The students performed classical and folk dances representing India and received much appreciation. They also attended workshops, where they exchanged dance techniques with participants from other countries. The festival included a memorable meeting with the Mayor and a well-received closing ceremony in Cappadocia. After the festival, we explored Cappadocia and Ankara, visiting places like Istiklal Street, the Grand Bazaar, Dolmabahce Palace, the Blue Mosque, Haghia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and enjoyed a private boat tour on the Bosphorus. We returned to India with lasting memories and valuable cultural insights.
