Exchange to Australia

With my heart filled with great anticipation and curious to learn, I started my expedition on April 20. I had the opportunity to spend 2 months in Australia at St. Philip's College and i was carving to make the most out of it. The infrastructure of the school was similar to DC and the people there were extremely kind which helped me settle in no time.

The school had it's own set of courses for students to choose from and they also promoted having interactive classes and discussions which assisted the students to understand better. Apart from academics the school also gave special attention to sports and co-curricular activities. During my stay there I was also a part of the Senior Dramatics Crew and the Hand ball team of my house.

The school had planned many activities for the exchange students including a community service at St. Vinnes which is a voluntary organisation to help the poor and needy. I felt so great to see the smile on the faces of those in need. The school had also planned visit to many places worth seeing.

Having a passion of sport, I tried many sports that i had never played before. Playing a football match (Australian Football and not the football as we know in India) every Saturday was so enthralling. From kicking the footy to getting knocked down by someone, the sport was really amazing.

The 2 months I have spent there were the most amazing time. I learned a lot and also made such good friends from all over the world.
I thank everyone who is involved in making my exchange such a wonderful one.
