Replacing the Boarding and Day Boarding House Evenings, this year, a Twelfth Class Evening was organized. The cultural
program was performed, directed, organized, managed and coordinated by the outgoing twelfth batch of the school. The event
was held on the 1st of October 2009, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Almost the entire batch was made a part of this fixture.
The function began traditionally with the Vandana which was followed by the Orchestra filling the air of the Auditorium with
the sound of the youth. Next up was the English Play, scripted and directed by the actors of the same, which tickled the
funny bone of the house till extreme limits. After the play, a fun dance was presented which was divided in three parts.
With each part displaying the brilliant dancers of the batch, this item was one of the most appreciated. This was followed
by a choreography which again left the audience awed. The cherry on the cake was the group song comprising of more than
three quarter of the batch, singing a parody of ten songs. The nightingales made the audience tap their feet, cheer with
every change in song, laugh, shed a drop of tear and smile at their melodious seniors!
Filling the gaps between the various performances, we had Harshveer Jain and Shantanu Karmarkar keeping the mood of the
house filled with joy. The comparers for the evening were Anupama Trivedi, Nishant Makhijani, Abbas Husain and Dheeya
Somiya.
The success of the function was due to the efficient management shown by the coordinators and more importantly because of
the extensive practices done by the participants and the long hours of planning done by the coordinators.
The success of the function was a result of the long hours of practice done by the participants and teachers alike.
